Due                                                                                                                   to the growing popularity of body boarding and

surfing in the Cook Islands, we established

Niki's Surf Shop in September 1995.

We decided to bring in a wider range of surf gear

and accessories from BodyBoards to surfing

booties to board shorts.

There are about twelve reef breaks around

Rarotonga. The waves average  3' to 12' all year

round depending on wind and swell directions.

You need a window of about two weeks. 

The best surf boards to use in the

Cook Islands range from 6' to7'

the waves are powerful, fast and big drops.
